Irish highlights

We went to stay with our friends Emma, Cian, Naoise and Liadain in sunny Ireland, near Cork. I had a fantastic weekend, least not because they have a fine collection of toy vehicles to explore.

One of the many beautiful local beaches.
I wasn't sure about the waves myself, but was happy for others to jump in on my behalf and get their feet cold.

Who says it always rains in Ireland?!

Coastal walk (actually I was asleep at home, but Dad had fun).

BBQ time.
I did manage this coastal walk, for almost 15 minutes.
Elevenses. Cian was always well prepared.
Cian introducing me to a rocky shore this time.
Rockpools - what fun! I saw limpets, barnacles, a hermit crab, normal crabs, little fish, anemones and more. Limpets were a big hit.

This hat was incredible. We're about to head off in bike convoy to the local open farm.
Yes, Cian and Emma really did have enough bikes for all of us.

It definitely looks easy dragging us along behind.
Made it to the farm.
Yes, I did drive this tractor.
Children operating real diggers! These farmers are geniuses.
And a train consisting of quad bike and cut out barrels. Almost certainly safe. Definitely fun.
Coffee time on our last morning. None of us came out well in this photo. We all have mouthfuls of cake.
Squeezing in a last playground. Bye bye Ireland!
