Papaya & Passionfruit Pavlova

So, this was my entry for round one of the Pudding-Off. As you can see the presentation was exceptional. Very low fat too, apart from all the double cream between the meringue and fruit. Remarkably, the cream was not off and the meringue was not burnt (unlike previous attempts). However, it still didn't quite pip the Crumbula. I gave it a VERY fair score of 10/10; it was at least as good as a British Pavlova e.g. Strawberry & Raspberry. Nick could not bring himself to give more than 8/10 - a total of 18/20.

We fed it to Nick's work collegue Mark and he certainly enjoyed it, although he was excluded from voting. Luckily we also have a spare meringue to get us through Monday. Roll on round three when Nick returns from NZ!
