Bird meets baby Yulika

After months of knitting, and over ten months of waiting (Japanese pregrancies take longer!) bird, Nat and I finally met baby Yulika.

Our friends Yoshi and Chika recently returned from Japan with their baby girl named Yulika (a mix of their names).

As a present, Nat knitted them 'bird' and I made an orange and coconut cake.

They both went down well.
