Look - I went on a boat! Ullswater steamer to be precise, Pooley Bridge to Glenridding and back. I took advantage of the gentle rocking and the noise of the engine to catch a bit of shut eye. Dad enjoyed spotting birds. Mum was delighted they sold flapjacks. All
in all, a grand day out.
